Wendy was born in Dublin and her interest in art dates from her early childhood. She has studied extensively in Ireland and overseas, her tutors include such well-known artists as Brian Byrnes, Maureen McMahon, John Skelton, Tom Roche, and Anne-Marie Keaveney.
She has now emerged as an established and versatile artist in oil, watercolour and the pastel medium. Her paintings hang in galleries and private collections in many countries and cities including Ireland, New York and Boston in the USA, Beijing, Budapest, and Canada and Australia. In Ireland she has recently fulfilled a commission of five Major Works in oil for International Banks in the Irish Financial Services Centre which are on permanent view to the public in the reception areas of each of the banks.
Wendy is an active member of the Dublin Art Society and has been honoured as its President for the period 2004 – 2006. She is also a member of the Dublin Paining and Sketching Club.
